Our Team
Darren Freeman - Builder
Darren started building homes in the state of Kansas as a young man while working with his grandfathers, Eli Freeman & Julius Knapp ~ two men who were well respected builders in their home town. Darren later worked in Commercial Construction in the Nuclear Industry. At the same time, he started his own construction company, ranging from building Custom Homes to Commercial Airport facilities and State & Federal Construction projects.
Darren divested from his Kansas endeavors and came to Austin, Texas in 2015. His first task was to assist in furthering the development of a local home building company. He is now launching Heritage Builders here in Central Texas with the interest of building custom homes for buyers interested in the Greater Austin, Texas area.
Anita Ramsay - Operations
Anita holds a WBE Certification in the state of Kansas for Civil Construction, and is a Past member of the organization of Executive Women International, Kansas City Chapter. Currently, her qualifications are in Construction Human Resources/Accounting, Field Sales Assistance, Corporate Reporting and Fiscal Management.
Anita partnered with Darren Freeman on the development of the civil construction business in Kansas, and came to Texas in 2015 to assist with the fiscal management of Freeman Homes. She is now working with Darren to launch Heritage Builders here in Central Texas with the interest of building custom homes for buyers coming to the Greater Austin, Texas area.
